May 16: Ryder Cup Day 1



The end of the season is quickly approaching, and it's been almost a month since the girls were in action at the Area Tournament. With the state tournament next week, the girls have been focusing on finishing up their academic year strong and keeping their golf game sharp. Boys coach Brooks Youngblood devised the 1st annual Lambert Ryder Cup to promote camaraderie between the girls and boys teams. The 2-day format would culminate with the results at the joint banquet on Thursday evening.

Day 1--Stableford scoring format. (Eagle=8 points, Birdie= 4 points, Par= 2 points, & Bogey= 1 point)

4 partner matches of Team Longhorn (Rosser) vs. Team Pride (Youngblood). The winning point total would also earn 1 point meaning there were 5 points up for grabs on Day 1!
